Kingman Turquoise Jewelry
Kingman Turquoise has been mined for a few hundred years by the Native Americans that lived in this area of Kingman Arizona. Most of the turquoise in the Kingman area come from an open pit copper mine. The mine was closed in the 1970's but was recently opened in 2004 by the Colbough family and is producing turquoise again. The best pieces of Kingman has been very much the standard in turquoise and is noted for its blue stones and black webbing. Years ago the Stagecoach sold a great deal of Kingman turquoise and hope to sell much more now that production has increased again.
